Tsubame Sanjo, a region in the Niigata Prefecture, has a history of metalworking dating back to the Edo period (1600s), when the production of traditional Japanese nails (wakugi) flourished. Blessed with an ideal metalworking environment, Tsubame Sanjo benefits from abundant iron resources, timber and water from the biggest river in Japan, the Shinano River. Craftsmen have been passing down their unique skills through generations and continue to receive the highest praise for their exceptional craftsmanship. Nail Nipper
Fan Out’s nail nipper is made by skilled craftsmen using traditional blacksmith techniques inherited from the Edo era.
The curved face has thin blades on each side making it easy to cut fine details and hard to reach areas.
Our innovative spring has two settings that adjust the width between the handles.

Nail File
Fan Out is proud to say that our nail file was designed and created in collaboration with an International Top Manicurist. Our nail file is made of flexible stainless steel with 180 grit to maximize smoothness, durability and comfort. This is the only steel nail file that has grooves throughout its entire surface, making it easy to file in hard to reach places.

Tweezers
Fan Out tweezers’ design is very different from others, making our tweezers very comfortable to use without pinching your skin. The tips are carefully processed by our Master Craftsmen, and are designed to remove unwanted hair without cutting the hair, and leaving a smooth finish to your skin. The tips of the tweezers can also be used to remove unwanted hair in difficult to reach locations. Our tweezers are made of Japanese stainless steel; making them durable, washable and rust resistant.

Titanium Ear Pick
Fan Out’s Japanese Titanium Ear Pick is made of high quality titanium; making it lightweight, durable and allergy resistant. We designed our ear pick with a large and small spoon to remove wax buildup for children and adults. Our ear pick is hand polished by our skilled craftsmen to have an incredibly smooth and gentle feel while removing wax.

Titanium Toothpick
Fan Out’s Titanium Toothpick is made of high quality titanium; making it lightweight, durable and allergy resistant. Grooves are placed on the tips of the toothpick making it easier to catch unwanted dental plaque and food residue. The two tips are set in different directions making it easier to reach the front and back of your mouth. The tip with lines placed near the handle is for reaching the back of your mouth. The handle of the toothpick is sand blasted for a non-slip grip. Each toothpick is carefully hand made by our Japanese craftsmen.We also offer a high end microsuede case to securely protect your Titanium Toothpick (sold separately)
